OIC srl is appointed as the sole authorised accommodation booking agent for the upcoming 15th EGS Congress from 4 to 8 June, 2022.
Given the high season period and the conjunction with many other events that will take place in Athens at the same time, the Organising Secretariat negotiated with the city hotels the best rates applicable.
Attendees are recommended to reserve hotel accommodation as soon as possible in order to have the best choice of available hotels.
The indicated rates and availabilities are only applicable for reservations received by 3 May 2022, after this date OIC cannot guarantee any reservation even though all efforts will be made to satisfy the requests upon availability.
Reservations will be confirmed by e-mail only upon receipt of the full pre-payment on a “first come – first served basis”; in order to avoid any disappointment early bookings are recommended (phone reservations are not accepted).

During the last period before the event, the hotel may not be available for bookings – check availability into the on-line registration platform or through OIC.
To secure adequate overnight capacities, hotel rooms for the congress have had to be contracted a long time in advance. Please note that hotels occasionally publish online or last minute promotion rates for a limited number of rooms that may vary from the prices contracted for the congress.

Invoices with an address in the European Union should be provided with a VAT Number. The invoicing address and VAT number can only be set up during the registration process. Should you have any special requests for the processing of your invoice, kindly let us know when submitting your application.
- Any modification on VAT number or billing address, requested after the issuing of the invoice incurs a € 30,00 administration charge.
Any change or cancellation in connection with hotel accommodations must be sent in writing to the Organising Secretariat O.I.C. to: registrationEGS@oic.it
Hotels will not accept any changes or cancellations directly.
Attrition policy for cancellations (valid for individual bookings and small groups up to 5 rooms):
- Up to and including 31 January, 2022: € 25,00 will be withheld for administrative charge.
- From 1 February to 3 March 2022 inclusive: one night accommodation will be withheld as cancellation charge.
- From 4 March to 20 May 2022: the paid amount will be refunded with a deduction of 90% as cancellation charge.
- From 21 May 2022: no refund will be made for cancellations, changes and reduction of stay duration.
- No-shows and early departure: 100% of the total amount of the room booked and not used will be withheld as penalty charge.
- Booking fees cannot be refunded in any case.
